Students are regularly assessed on their current level and given target grades. This way exam results can be predicted ahead of test day.
The IGCSE Maths qualification is based 100% on the exams. Different exam boards have slightly different exam structures:

There is no limit to the number of times you can sit the IGCSE Maths exam. Students can retake the exam as many times as needed to achieve their desired grade.
